CHRISTMAS TRUCES
1914 / 1915




A British Royal mail stamp sheet was issued in 2014 to commemorate the so-called
 "Christmas Truce" during December 1914 (reproduced below)

 A less famous WW1 "Truce" was enabled at Gallipoli (May 1915) between Turkish and ANZAC troops, in order for each side to recover their dead heroes, for honoured burial, from no-mans-land. (See later....)
